Filmed over 4 years, Home is the fascinating account of 34-year old UK adventurer Sarah Outen’s 20,000 mile journey across the globe, powered entirely by her own steam - on bike, foot and rowing boat. Like Cheryl Strayed’s memoir Wild, Outen also confronts her own mental health issues and discusses her grief for her late father as the film explores the redemptive and healing power of travel. With footage from Alaska to Kazakhstan, from China to the Pacific Ocean, this inspiring documentary demands to be seen on the big screen.
Directors: Jen Randall, Sarah Outen
